on the floor

What are you doing on the floor, Hu-dad?

Hu-dad was sitting in the floor brushing the tangles out of Kiska’s coat. Since Kiska has this wiry, wooly coat, she can easily get little tangles and mats if Hu-dad doesn’t stay up with the grooming. Kiska, fortunately loves the brush (well, until Hu-dad hits one of those tangles too hard). Qannik, however, . . .

Mom sez: Looks like Qannik is saying, “Hu-Dad, if my nose is buried, that means you can’t see me!” Ice hates being brushed, too, and so did Ayla.
