First Day of Spring

Yesterday was officially the first day of spring and we had a perfect spring-like day to celebrate – highs in the 40’s, sunny, and pleasant. We settled in for a leisurely day of soaking up sun and exploring Sibe Quentin. Hu-dad asked each of us to pose for a picture. Some of us did better than others:

Frankie Brown Eyes

Frankie Brown Eyes is always the perfect model.

Qannik

Qannik bats those baby blue eyes and wanders off to find dirt for playing.

QNTE

Queen Natasha the Evil grumbles that her perimeter patrols are being delayed for photos.

Kiska

Kiska fluffs that wooly coat and strikes a pose.

Cheoah

Cheoah grins from her favorite sunning spot.

Hmmmmmm. Wonder why the hu-dad saved the Munchkin himself for the final picture. Would it be because he didn’t exactly cooperate? That would be so unlike Typhoon, wouldn’t it?

Typhoon

I’m ready for my close-up.

Ice sez: Here in the Peace Country, the first day of Spring was like — WINTER. It snowed on and off most of the day, and hey, I’m almost 12 years old, I’m too old to appreciate this white stuff anymore. My piece of carpet in the hallway outside the hu-Mom and Dad’s bedroom fits JUST right, thank you!
