Snow Week – Day 5

Friday started out sunny and clear – an absolutely beautiful day that reminds us how lucky we are to live in this area. Hope you enjoy some of the sights and views as we move to Day 5 of Snow Week.

Friday morning dawned clear and bright as the sun rose over Cataloochee Ski Area.

Cataloochee Ski opened up the high meadows for skiing – a very rare event.

The Herd of Big Dogs (horses, for our newer readers) will be back with spring, but skiers are in the fields for now.

And we all just enjoyed the view from our house on this beautiful day.

    Did my card make it? The pigeons are so slow here, they don’t fly very fast in the snow Hahahah – I did hide 40. in it for Sarge’s….if not there now, hopefully will be in a few days. I could not get out, my brother in law took it out with him to mail, but I think it was Wednesday before he remembered to take it.

    They look like they are having a blast in the snow. My Cocheta just wants to lay on the bed, she is 12 now, and her arthritis is bad this winter. She still bounces a little inside though 🙂
