Horrible Hurricane Helene: Why So Bad for WNC?
October 29, 2024
Hurricane Helene was a monster storm, but the way it hit Western North Carolina couldnât have been much worse.
I attended a seminar put on by our local emergency vet clinic last night, and they cautioned that discarded water bottles are sometimes used as a bong, in which case a dog can be exposed to marijuana by just picking it up. Hopefully you don’t have to worry about that in your neighborhood.

Good job! Taking care of the environment is everyone’s job! lol

My one girl walks ok on a leash, but my youngest…..not so much!
And when I try to walk them together they fight to be ahead of eachother lol
How do you do it?!?!?
Sam used to get so happy to when he found a water bottle. We always said they were his little treasures!
Monty and Harlow
You have to love puppy antics! It certainly keeps life more interesting.
That is just so neat! Shades of Rusty, all right. Just can’t stand to see litter strewn around — though you may be right, that it’s just to be “annoying” to his older siblings!
Did he take it all the way back home? Maybe you’ll have to find him a “blue box” at home to put all his “treasures” in.
