Why We Are Thankful

Today, you will find lots of posts expressing why people and canines (and even cats) are thankful. Sure, we could list that we are a bunch of rescues and landed in a great forever home. We could talk about the beautiful area we live in. We could talk about health, happiness, peace on earth.

But let’s be clear why we are thankful today.

SNOW!

Big bro

Whoa! Big Bro! Come see all the fun snow everywhere.

not cold at all.

And when you are a Siberian Husky, sitting in snow isn’t cold at all.

ready for a picnic

Who is ready for a picnic?

I love snow.

Might as well join the rest for some fun.

Better run

Better run, you two!

Chase

The chase is on!

patrolling

Qannik is peacefully patrolling.

stalking

Blissfully unaware that the Queen is stalking him.

Kiska

But Kiska sees it coming.

chase

The chase is on!

upper paw

Qannik thinks he has the upper paw.

worried

But now has a very worried look on his face.

sisters

Especially when the sisters ganged up on him.

We hope you all have a very Happy Thanksgiving. And, sure, be thankful for the big things. But don’t forget to just be thankful for the moment. Like when it snows.

What a wonderful post today — a “Herd of Sibes” in their element. One of the best posts since Rusty crossed North of the Rainbow Bridge!
