September 11

9-11-01

Today, we pause to remember those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001.

Today, we pause to honor the incredible bravery of the passengers of United Flight 93 as they defended us from the attackers.

Today, we pause to applaud the brave first responders who heroically saved so many.

Today, we pause to mourn the rescuers who lost their own lives trying to save others.

Today, we pause to salute the brave men and women of our military and our allies’ military who protect freedom around the world.

Today, we pause.

Ayla, Ice, and the hu-Mom and Dad all want to say “God keep and protect all of us who so well remember that day, and with God’s help, may it NEVER happen again!”

It’s hard to believe that it was twelve years ago. It still seems so vivid and clear in my mind. I hope that we will all do our best to be sure it is never forgotten.
