We have had near steady rain since last weekend, so things are very foggy, soggy, and cool. Many of our neighbors in lower lying areas are dealing with rivers and streams over their banks or mud slides, but, for us, this is just a great inconvenience. So how do we stay entertained in weather like this?

Wings of Doom
December 12, 2024
A simple nightly routine with my dogs led me to face the wings of doom, a hideous creature that lurks in the shadows of my yard.
It is so hard to burn off energy and stay entertained on the rainy days!
P.S. My Mom is jealous of your big, beautiful pantry 🙂
I’m glad you’ve taken inventory in the pantry, Frankie. It’s hard work, but someone has to do it.
Sounds like a pretty busy day to be Frankie!
Browsing the pantry is always fun! I hope the rain goes away soon so you can play outside again 🙂
You can really send some our way… 😀
Harlow would love to come and explore that pantry with you, Frankie!

Hi Y’all!
Down at the shore we had 7 inches of rain in the first 3 days of July…but the nice thing there is that the ground is mostly sand and, while soggy right after the rain, it dries out quickly. We also were getting sunny mornings. The storms waited until late in the day and at night.
The Humans decided to come up here to the high country on Monday and we haven’t really been out of the house since our arrival. We couldn’t even go down to the town to walk in the park because the creek was out of its banks and over the road as well as the walking paths.
Glad y’all are handling the “shut in time” so well!
Y’all come by now,
Hawk aka BrownDog
Ayla sez: Oh my Dog, I just can’t believe it! Frankie is as much of a “contortionist” as I am. At last I’ve met somedog I can relate to. That picture of him with his head twisted around the table leg is just SOOO me! And especially when I’m bored out of my skull, like now, with the rainy weather we’re having here, too.
Awesome work mr. Frankie!
