March Weather

As it is in the rest of the country, March weather can be very unpredictable. But all the seasons in one day is still quite unusual. Here was yesterday.

March and sunning on the porch

Our Friday started out cold, so we hung out on the porch getting warm.

Snow remnants,

If you look behind Typhoon, you will see remnants of the snow from earlier this week.

Frankie sunning

By mid-day, it had warmed into the 40’s, enough for Frankie to enjoy soaking some rays in the yard

Snow

Have no fear, the temperatures had dropped and snow was peppering us by mid-afternoon.

Grass is always greener on the other side…it’s was HOT here in Houston today…getting too hot already for me…would gladly take some cooler temps! 🙂 But then again, I want to see snow 🙂

We have been getting lots of sunshine these past few days. Piappies Mom and the hoomans are on w-o-r-k break due to Easter holidays so we got to enjoy a lot of zoom zoomies and play time here.

Several weeks ago however, we did experience lots of sunshine in the morning then thunderstorm by lunch. So strange indeed…

Happy Easter to The Herd from the Piappies!

    Hi Y’all!

Just stopped to catch up on your past weeks adventures.

My Humans came up to the mountains. leaving the blooming roses and azaleas at the shore, to spend the Palm Sunday Easter holiday. We ended up with a wash out for Palm Sunday then snowed in for 3 days. Were the winds didn’t blow it off we ended up with around a foot of snow.

This has been a boring trip for me. Looks like y’all have been havin’ more fun!

    Happy Easter.

    Y’all come by now,
    Hawk aka BrownDog

What crazy weather though I imagine you all prefer the cooler weather to the warm and/or hot.

We are firmly in our summer here – yesterday when I was done with horses it was close to 90 degrees. Hopefully you didn’t get too much snow!

Here in michigan we have a saying, if you don’t like the weather, wait five minutes and it will change because it is Michigan! Lol it is very true too. We have been in the 50’s for the last couple of days and today we are suppose to get close to 60. On Monday it’s a whole nother story. It is suppose to be 35 and snow : (. Now I know all you huskies love the cold and snow, so does my Bruce, but this human waits her warm weather and sun shine so I can be outside. I personally hate the cold, but I do love snow. Lmao I know I’m weird. Hugs and kisses to the herd.

Ayla sez: Woooohoooo, that almost sounds like our weather here in Dawson Creek for the past couple of weeks. Last week, we had 14″ of snow come down in two days, then for the past couple of DAYS, it’s been sunshine and water running everywhere. My Dad, Ice, is starting to blow coat now. Tempatcher is sposed to stay pretty warm right through the Easter Weekend.
