Horrible Hurricane Helene: Why So Bad for WNC?
October 29, 2024
Hurricane Helene was a monster storm, but the way it hit Western North Carolina couldnāt have been much worse.
In the years I have been reading your blog and enjoying your pictures, I don’t think I have ever seen The Evil Queen cutting up in such a fashion! Maybe part of it is her new enclosure, roomier and she can make tracks off -leash.

Ayla sez: “Now that I am 8 years old, and my Dad, Ice, is 10 years old, it’s good to see the “Senior Herd Members” loving the snow, too. Makes us feel not so foolish when we get out there and act like we’re puppies again, too! Sure looks like QNTE still has it, when she stretches out like that!”
luvluvluv seeing joyful Sibes in the snow.
They are sure having a wonderful time! I loved these pictures! š
In their element!! Beautiful!
Wonder if there is a “enjoy running in the snow” sequence in their DNA .
Wonderful pics – Thanks!
It’s good to see them so happy! I love watching them play!
I love watching animals play in the snow. It is so entertaining. Oh and also little kiddie pools too. My boys just love water. Except baths lol. I need a bigger pool for Bruce. He is so much larger than what Aries was and the last pool I bought Bruce was a puppy lol. He is a 100lb german shepherd. I think I need a bigger kiddie pool lol. Hugs and kisses to the herd.
Such beautiful and joyful creatures!
They all look so darned happy! I hope you do order some more snow for them, Hu-Dad!
LOVE!!!!!
