We know, you are expecting some cute picture of us, but, let’s be real – we are always cute. This week, the hu-dad wanted to share one of his most exciting moments of the week. He has never captured a picture of one of these in the wild and, suddenly, we had the moment this week. We were just driving down the road, looked over to the side of a marshy area on top of the roof of a gazebo, and guess what was sitting there not 20 feet away. Thus, this may not be a picture of us, but we really do think this is awesome . . .

Wings of Doom
December 12, 2024
A simple nightly routine with my dogs led me to face the wings of doom, a hideous creature that lurks in the shadows of my yard.
Awesome!
Awesome picture! I bet you couldn’t chase that bird. I’m pretty sure bald eagles are protected from husky chasing.

What a fantastic shot. We have them up here in the Peace Country of Northern BC, too, but I’ve never seen one up as close as this one is.
That is TOTALLY awesome!!! Great shot, hu-dad – even if it’s not of one of the members of the Herd! The eagles are back at our dam/lake/reservoir/ocean. Mom and I are going to try again to get a photo … even though we’re convinced they know what her car looks like. Maybe we should borrow Dad’s SUV…
Play bows,
Zim
Wow! What a gift!
Awesome!
A very beautiful picture and worth missing the herd for only one day, but tomorrow we want our herd back lmao. Way to go hu-dad. We have them here in Michigan and I have seen them a lot, but never that close. Hugs and kisses to the herd.
