Getting a jump on the winter action, we spotted our local family of turkeys with all 12 chicks at Cataloochee Ski. Guess they are just waiting on those snow guns to start up (We sure are).

A simple nightly routine with my dogs led me to face the wings of doom, a hideous creature that lurks in the shadows of my yard.
