    That must be another of those common sibe traits as all of us do it too, although Phantom seems to have mastered it along with the look-at-how-cute-I-am expression.

    Ayla here, snorking, ’cause I do the same thing on our deck. Stick my beak through the railing, and if I turn my head the other way, I can’t see the table, but I can see through the patio doors into the kitchen, make sure I can keep my eyes on the stove and counter. And I can very definitely hear the fridge door being opened and closed, too.
