Hark! Who Goes There?

Frankie, Natasha, Kiska

Wow, now that is a big dog we do not see often on our hikes.

Cheoah, Frankie, Natasha

And it sure smells different.

Kiska

Regardless, it sure has our attention.

Deer

We especially loved its big floppy ears – which seemed to be listening to us for some odd reason.

Deer 2

Wait. Don’t run away.

Frankie and Natasha

We just wanted to play. Honest.

Frankie Natasha

Running away was just rude.

She looks like she’d be really good at zoomies!

My first Golden Daisy always tried to convince those things she was their friend! I don’t believe Sam and Monty have ever seen one!

I don’t know why that dog doesn’t want to play. I bet you all have white tails!

You have to watch out for those big dogs with funny ears and no leashes! They’ll get you in trouble!

And, where was her leash?!? =)

Mom saw a few of them on her way to The GKP Thursday morning –

They were munchin’ in one of the fields –

She definitely looked like she was about to have “a puppy”, maybe two. Bigger than your normal “big dog”, at any rate. Probly better to not mess with her. Me’n Ice have seen “mad mooses”, right here in our own neighbourhood, in town, but haven’t seen a “deer” kind of dog yet.

She looks like impending motherhood to me and probably fun and games is the last thing she is thinking of.

You’ll never catch her. Never. St least that’s what we’ve learned!

Wings of Doom

A simple nightly routine with my dogs led me to face the wings of doom, a hideous creature that lurks in the shadows of my yard.
