The weather cooled down a little, so we were able to go on a long walk yesterday morning. I want to tell you all about it.
Sure, it was a little exhausting because it is still hot and everything, but we had the best time. You will not believe the tales.
Now that I am back in the Jeep where it is cool and have had some water, I am starting to drift off a little, but I want to tell you our story.
Really, all I have to do is focus a little and I can get this story out.

Horrible Hurricane Helene: Why So Bad for WNC?

Hurricane Helene was a monster storm, but the way it hit Western North Carolina couldn’t have been much worse.

Teddy does that all the time. He sits there, ready to tell you a story, then suddenly his eyes are closed and he is asleep!
Rusty, I’m sure you can tell us all about it after you rest your eyes for a few minutes!
Wow, that must have been some walk. I hope you had good dreams about it.
Bruce is still pretty young. He is 16 months old and I have to force him to calm down until last night. It was 95 and it felt like 105 and the dew point was 75. It was horrible. I was sweating just sitting there. I was gonna spray Bruce with the hose but it was getting dark soon and i knew he wasn’t gonna dry off in time to go in the house before we do fireworks. Bruce is so crazy he tries to bite the bug zapper and barks at it so i thought it would be a good idea not to have him go after the fireworks. I don’t want to have to explain that one to the vets lmao. He is so bad that when he sees the moon he barks at it. Dad calls him hair crazy dog lmao. Have a great day and try to stay cool. I know we will. It is suppose to be really hot and humid again today. Hugs and kisses to the herd.
OK, Rusty, I want to hear this story. However, its been 96 degrees here today and that is way too hot for me, Mom and Zkhat, so we have been nodding off and on most of the day . ..so, Rusty, why don’t we catch you later on, say about tomorrow at 10 am. Yawn!
