Wings of Doom
December 12, 2024
A simple nightly routine with my dogs led me to face the wings of doom, a hideous creature that lurks in the shadows of my yard.
Noble and handsome animals. Bless your neighbor for trying to educate others about these animals and their place in the Web of Life.
Your neighbors are so much cooler and more interesting than mine! 😀 That video is really interesting and fun to watch! How does he end up with the wolves?
What beautiful animals! And I’m not an expert on animal behavior…but I think there was a *lot* of communication going on in that video.
This reminds me that my beagle and schnauzer mix is related to wolves…sometimes she gets this gleam in her eye that says “I’ve got the wild in me!”
So very gorgeous & cool! I just can’t get over how much they look & sound like my Sitka! What an amazing thing for you to be able to visit them all the time!!!
Yep, saving this one for sure. It’s so sad people have such a negative view of an animal that distrusts us more than we do them. I love that he is trying to educate the public about these wonderful animals that don’t deserve the reputation we have given them over the centuries.
Thank you so much for sharing the video! It’s great!
This is a video I’m going to make sure I save! I didn’t realize that wolves were as big conversationalists as Sibes. Sure had Ice riveted to my computer screen for the whole video. (Ayla was outside, on “squirrel patrol” in the back yard). Thank you for sharing this one with us.
Thank you for the up close look at the ancestors of my Poodles and mutts. So beautiful…
That was pretty cool.
Thanks for sharing what cool neighbors you have.
I shared this on twitter – the youtube link at least – absolutely fascinating. First glance one thinks Oh so much like Huskies! but just a few minutes watching and yeah…no. Gorgeous, thank you so much for sharing these wonderful creatures!
