Snow at the Neighbors

We were just hanging out in our field enjoying a beautiful day.

And admiring our favorite tree when we noticed something different at our neighbor's.

So we wandered down to the edge of our field for a closer look.

Opening Day!

Yes, our neighbor, Cataloochee Ski, opened for their 51st season of skiing.  The snow guns fired up Thursday and they are working hard to open the entire ski area.  You can always check out their webcam to watch the fun.

Since our regular “around the neighborhood” walk includes walking in front of the ski lodge, our walk was a little more crowded this weekend, but we did get lots of attention and ear scratches, so that is ok.

You guys must be right at home.

Although I have to admit that snow path in the middle of the mountain looks a little out of place.

Does that mean it is cold enough during the day to support it?

Are you allowed to go and play in the snow?

    Hi Y’all,

We’re down here at the shore. We had a couple of cold nights and it must be good and cold for the ski runs up there.

    Y’all come by now,

Best of all, you get to enjoy the snow without having to shovel it.

I hope you all got a little bit of time to play in that snow! I think you have the most interesting neighbors of anyone!

Pawsome! Snow!! I bet you pups could sniff out snow anywhere around your neighborhood. :->

It brings me hope that one day soon I will be seeing snow in my neck of the woods. Enjoy the wonderful fluffy white stuff!
