Foto Fridays

Our favorite tree has lost its leaves.

Fall mornings give us crisp, cold, clear skies to see for miles.

It seems to me that when the days get crisp the dogs’ sense of smell becomes extra strong. It’s almost as if the scent molecules are easier to pick up in the cool air.

It makes fall a great time to go for a walk.

Such a wonderful tree to share the seasons with!

We had snow day before yesterday and I thought it was gonna stick, but it didn’t. I call it Wimp Snow!

    Kisses,

I love your tree even when it’s bare. Enjoy this great Sibe (and Golden) weather.

Thanks for giving us Frankie’s story. I’m glad he’s fitting in so well.

It’s so hard when our companions have to cross the Bridge. I know you still miss Kodiak terribly. I’ve lost 2 in the last 2 years, one to old age, another to an autoimmune disease.

I have another dog now, but I’ll never forget my girls. And I don’t want to.

Please forgive us for not knowing about Kodiak. We only just found out. Our deepest sympathies are with you on the tragic loss of your beautiful, special, lovable boy. We are truly sorry. RIP sweet Kodiak.

We are happy, though, that you have found a wonderful pup in Frankie.

    Peace,

    Suka and K

That “bare-naked” tree is so beautiful, so “symmetrical”. What kind of tree is it?

Also glad to see the Siberfotos updated, and Frankie included in the family.

Hugz to your SiberKids from us SiberKids, Ice ‘n Ayla.

And a special hug to you all – I know it had to have been hard to take Kodiak out of the current herd. It is sweet and lovely to see Frankie take his place though! He is a gorgeous boy and reading his description is a very lucky boy too – it is wonderful to rescue the dogs who have had tragic lives, like Qannik did, but to find one who has never really known such pain and loss is a beautiful thing. Welcome to the current herd again, Frankie!

The tree is absolutely gorgeous no matter the season. I hope you guys get the snow there you want – so your neighbors have lots of great skiing and there are lots of snow adventures for the herd!

Two of your most beautiful photos EVER – considering there are no dogs, of course… Really, really beautiful.
