Wary Wednesday

Ever have one of those days where the crate door swings open and you just decide to stay put.

Don't get me wrong. There are days to jump up and grab the day - or, as I say, grab the Kodiak by his neck (grins).

But today feels like a stay in the crate day. What do you think?

Hmm, nope, I don’t think I ever have those days. But maybe I’ll try it sometime!

He’s got his kong with him – why go anywhere else?

Sometimes staying in your crate is the best option.

Our Ellie often runs to the safety of her crate if things get too loud when we have guests. She is often asleep in her crate when we come back from errands. It’s good to have a safe place of your own.

Its raining at our house today and our house and crate is right where we are staying. Rusty, you have a good idea!

BOL – Lightning does that too (as long as there isn’t any food around:)

Oh, yeah. I was kind of wary on Monday, but today is kind of a “grab the day by the neck and shake it” kind of day.

Shelby loves her crate – it never is closed, and that is the ONE place Maddox leaves her alone. It is her special retreat, though she really hates it when I use the printer that sits on top of it. LOL!

I stupidly took it away for awhile and she was super distressed. So maybe Cheesewhiz just needs some relaxing time too!

Nia will agree with you Cheesewhiz!!! It is a rainy day here & she is lounging in her “she cave” as we call it.

If one of our dogs did stayed in his/her crate when the door swung open, we’d call the vet asap. I guess that Sibes and Labs can be pretty darn different!

Definitely the day for it. I love my crate, especially for long naps.

You know, I’m having one of those days here myself! Can you call in for me so I can stay in my crate?
