Thursday Treat

Our hu-dad is so considerate.  He came home with a recent purchase and said he planned to put it on a pole so that birds would roost in it next spring and raise their young families.  Of course, once the baby birds hatch, they have to learn how to fly.  And, that fellow pups, creates a unique opportunity.  Yes, you guessed it, our hu-dad bought us . . .

A deluxe baby bird "tweet" dispenser.

P.S. – Don’t hate us because we are carnivores!

Non, non Puppies! If they cannot fly that means they are not ripe enough to eat, so let them live a little longer, make it a littl fairer sport!

What a lovely little house! Our dogs watch the birds coming to the feeders on the deck. They don’t know they are tweets.

    That is TOO funny!!!!

Our R claims that he helps the baby birds learn to fly by chasing them off the ground… I’m not so sure that’s really his goal.

What a cute little house! When we moved into our house, there was a birds nest fairly low in a palm tree & the girls jumped on it day after day, harassing the birds & finally knocking them out of the nest 🙁
