That Darn Cat

After our post yesterday, we received a number of comments worried about how the cat and The Herd reacted to each other.  We probably should have been clear.  This is NOT what happened.

Yes, the hu-dad actually can edit our pictures in Photoshop if he is not too lazy.

Nope, the pictures of the cat were made while the hu-dad was off in town WITHOUT US at some festival (click here if you actually want to see what he was doing that did not involve us.  It’s ok, we didn’t really think you would click it since we are the only important ones on this blog).  Apparently, this cat decided to actually talk to our hu-dad and – gasp – allow the hu-dad to give it belly rubs.  We are the only ones who get belly rubs from the hu-dad, so we think this is a violation of our contract.

Anyway, the cat is fine and we did not get to meet it.

Great photo! Real or not! Those kitties are something…this evening while taking Gib out for his walk, our one cat Smokie was lounging on the stoop and we had to actually walk over and around her…she’s lucky Gibson is the sweet, gentle Sibe that he is otherwise she could’ve been a snack. But did she care? Nope, she just laid there, rolled onto her back, and twitched her tail. The nerve! Good thing she’s cute!

The Hu-Dad is getting very good at photoshopping, maybe Thunder needs to ask him for some help with his project:) We are actually relieved to know the kitty has not met The Herd.

Well, since hu-dad was at an event focused on an exchange of cultural heritages, it makes perfect sense that he would be exposed to the kitty culture. We applaud his openness and acceptance of diversity! The Herd should be proud!

um, ya, L&J would like you guys to give a lawyer a call. this is massively not correct in hu-dad contract. I think there could be some big payments for a violation like this…

You guys know that I have to live with a cat. Her name is Ali Zophia aka Zkhat. She used to be terrified of me and I loved that. However she has since learned that, 1) She is faster than I will ever be and 2) She is smarter than me. So just forget about taking a cat on, its no use.

    Kisses,
    Stella

We thought ya’ll were being awful good to have a cat right there in front of you!! Nia would have had that leash pulled so tight trying to get that cat … to play of course**snicker..snicker**!! Wow the hu-dad was feeling brave telling you that he gave belly rubs to someone else & a feline on top of that!

What a cool festival! However, I’m a little concerned. You mean that cat has more culture than The Herd? That can’t be possible!

That’s a pretty good Photo Shopped scene. I’m sure the Herd missed you.
