Wings of Doom

A simple nightly routine with my dogs led me to face the wings of doom, a hideous creature that lurks in the shadows of my yard.

It is those darn leashes…that bunny didn’t stand a chance but for your restraint!
And now no hunter stew to go with that lovely beajolais villages and apple tarte for Bastille Day dinner! A toast to future chases: A la vie, la liberté, la fraternité !

We have those little guys all over the place here. They usually sit very still and pretend they aren’t there, but we can see them. Mom is worried she is going to lose her arm one of these days:)

Better a bunny in the grass than a snake in the grass! I’ve seen a couple of those slithering by lately on our walks, and I don’t like it.
