Wings of Doom
December 12, 2024
A simple nightly routine with my dogs led me to face the wings of doom, a hideous creature that lurks in the shadows of my yard.
Mom has had an ear worm evFUR since she saw the title –
Of khourse, she insists I share:

PeeEssWoo: I’m sure she’s off to watch Under The Bridge – one of those Mom Memory songs π
Mom’s got some Alan Parsons song stuck in her head. He doesn’t sing samba music or play the bagpipes, so you’re on your own on this one.
Luv,
Dave
You are so smart!

Yes, I know what you mean…we should possibly take the higher ground too.
The rain just keeps on coming…

That’s a good idea. You don’t want to get wet paws unless you are about to go back inside the house.
It’s been pretty cloudy and rainy here too. I guess we might need a picnic table!

I cannot imagine drying off the Herd! Bad enough here with only two.
I resemble that photo.

You guys don’t like to swim? π
Here’s hoping you have a sunny weekend to enjoy your hiking on! Seeking higher ground sounds like a wise decision to us, though!
It has been rainy for us too in VA and NC. Love that last pic, too cute. π
Hehe! You guys are so smart!
I believe Rusty is the guy who refuses to lie on the ground, why would he want to stand and get his feety feets wet!
Kisses,
Stella
A tableau of reds! Hawoo!

Great photos. Love the fog, and the dogs on “higher ground”!
How we wish we had one of those picnic tables here – it would be put to very good use! Hope the sun comes out for the weekend for you.
Woos ~ Phantom, Thunder, and Ciara
Around here even some of the picnic table are under water!
