Saturday was beautiful, so we decided to take the exact same trail that we were taking last Saturday. Do you remember what happened? Let us remind you . . .
So if we walk the exact same trail at the exact same time, will we get the exact same result?

Horrible Hurricane Helene: Why So Bad for WNC?
October 29, 2024
Hurricane Helene was a monster storm, but the way it hit Western North Carolina couldn’t have been much worse.
That’s a big looking bear, no?!
Must be looking for something delicious….
Sweet hugs,
Sierra Rose
I’m glad your hike was free of Easter bears! Now, if there were some bunnies to chase, we’d enjoy hearing all about the ensuing mayhem. *grin*
Hey, we know why woo didn’t see the bear this week…..ready fur this one?
Cause…
“The bear went over the mountain
The bear went over the mountain
the bear went over the mountain….
to see what he could see!”
Ha-woo!
Jack & Moo
Was that the Mama Bear or the Papa Bear? Sure is beautiful, and I bet it was pawsome to be so up-close and personal to such a magnificent creature! I think I would have been a bit nervous, unless it was a relative of Pooh Bear. :->
Happy Easter! Hope you run into some bunnies next time!
Suka
Maybe he found a pick-a-nick basket somewhere and is having a snack!
Luv,
Dave
PS: umm… me? Testing out the wash your own pup place? gulp. Are you sure you heard that?!!?

You really took that photo? OMG…I would have had a heart attack. I am SO afraid of bears, I don’t even like to go near them at the zoo. LOL
I think he’s in the Bear Bat Khave waiting fur his sidekikhk –

PeeEssWoo; We shared your khomment about Bricey!
Too bad… no bear there!
I know from my wildlife cams that bears tend to go to the same places time and time again… but they don’t have watches (or cell phones, for that matter) so the times are different!
Lucky you – it looks like beautiful weather. We had more snow last night, and it’s in the forecast for every day this week.
Great photo of the bear! I can just hear the soundtrack, “dom-dee-dum, dee dom-dee-dum”, as he goes lumbering along nonchalantly. Since animals kind of tell time with the sun which changes week to week, maybe he was there 5 minutes before you got there?!
You said last week that the cance of seeing a bear is pretty slim; you know they are there, they just aren’t seen, frequently. I’m betting the slim chance became reality and you ran inot the bear again.
You guys are brave! Glad the bear wasn’t there this time.
Drools and licks,
Minnie and Mack
Yikes a bear. I have no idea how my hounds would do if they encountered a black bear. How do your dogs react to this type of critter? My hounds would go bolistic. Sniffs, The HoundDogs
That bear must have found a good pot of honey somewhere.
What a beautiful day you had for that hike.
Easter Blessings to all.
Woos ~ Phantom, Thunder, and Ciara
uhh..t-herd, risky bidnez… were you guys whistling and singing and howling, “woo hoo bear, we’re on the trail! just sayin'”!! although all your bear bells should announce woo just fine.

Happy Easter!
