A Touch of Snow

We woke up to just the slightest touch of snow.

The distant mountain tops are snow covered while the valleys are green.

Queen Natasha enjoyed her morning perimeter patrol.

She checked to make sure everything was secure.

While Kiska handled the center of the dog lot.

And then it was time for our morning walk.

We woke up to 65Β°F sunny weather … and took a nice romp around our neighborhood. Now 35 degrees later, it’s SNOWING! We are really really happy about that! We need it BAD! (Lucky thing … the roads and sidewalks are just wet and tomorrow it’ll be sunny and warm. Melt for the Earth!)

    Enjoy! We sure are.
    xx

It’s a shame it can’t snow all the time for you. Although I bet the hu-dad is more than happy that it doesn’t.

We are still getting bits of snow here, too! Perhaps Queen Natasha and the lovely Kiska would like to do a perimeter and interior check of our ranch? Hmmm…they might opt to climb into a stall with the baby mustang for a nap πŸ™‚

That looks like Sibe Heaven! Did Cheoah get one more roll in?

  12. Stella on April 3, 2011 at 1:20 pm

Since my Mom is deaf, my work is inside the house. So I just nap until someone comes to the door, or the phone rings. Ever vigilant, even in sleep!

You can see what a find job The Queen and Kiska do!

    Kisses,

So Mother Nature is making up for the lack of snow in March? We have the opposite – very warm and windy, going into the 80s today and then those bad storms tonight.

Wish we could sniff in that snow with you.

Just curious – how often does the Herd get a bath? How do you do it? Do you have a big tub somewhere or is there a local “Wag ‘n’ Wash”?
