Sarge’s Open House – Part II – The Cats

Yesterday, we took you inside Sarge's new adoption center and showed you the dogs available for new homes.

Our hu-dad was invited inside the special Cat room. We, for some odd reason, were not invited.

Some were quite proud to pose.

Some were quite camera shy.

Some were quite serene (this paw cross is dedicated to you, Khyra).

While others expressed their opinion of the hu-dad taking pictures.

But this little guy took one look at the hu-dad's hand . . .

And took his best swipe.

As we said yesterday, we are huge fans of Sarge’s Animal Rescue Foundation.  They do an amazing job driving down the euthanasia rate at our local animal shelter.  If you are looking for a new companion, please consider adopting from Sarge’s or your own local rescue.

What a great place 🙂 All the pups and kitties look so lovely, we’re sure they will find great homes thanks to Sarge’s Animal Rescue Foundation!

I can’t believe they didn’t invite you dogs in to meet the cats! They are so cute.

Such cute kitties! The little one taking the paw swipe sure is feisty! I think he would fit right in with you pups!

Sarge’s does a great job! You can just tell that everyone there is truly dedicated to helping find second chances and new lives for those in need. We hope you share with them what an incredible paws-up they receive here in the Blogworld for their efforts.

What cool kit-cats! …except that second one reminds me of Maude the Bully Cat… but I shouldn’t hold that against her. Or him.

I can’t believe they wouldn’t let you into the Kitteh Room! I think a kitteh would totally whip you into shape. Or maybe a herd of kittehs… Heehee.

Somehow, I think that last little guy would fit right in with The Herd, but something tells me he didn’t return to Chez Herd with all of you. The new facility is really nice!

A lovely place for a short visit. Then the best thing is to get adopted into a good family. The very best thing is a family with no dogs, but if thats not available, we can manage dogs (six might be a bit of a challenge!)

Years and years ago an animal shelter kept a list of the cats they had. Every day they would log in the cats in a book. It was the first ever catalog.

That would make a title for a movie.

Cute kitties! I don’t even dare to imagine what Eva would do if she saw so many of them there.

Although we aren’t fond of kitties in furson, we have to admit to having many great online furry feline friends. Sarge has some pretty cute ones too – Mom loves the white one – big surprise there:)

So, have you all decided which your would like to bring home more? A kitty, or that gorgeous Niko?

I think both would be quite fun!
