Warm Weather Wednesday

Remember this?

The snow at the end of our driveway was taller than our cars just a little over a month ago.

This is just wrong.

Yes, our February has been one of the warmest and driest Februarys we can remember – as opposed to so many of you who have been battling winter weather the last few weeks.  We are trying to decide if winter has just abandoned us – or if March is going to be one bitter payback.  (Or, in Herd speak, whether March is going to be beautifully cold and snowy).

It’s hot here in tropical Singapore!
We had rain for a bit yesterday evening but then it gets all wet and humid after that..:(
Wish i was there in snow country!
Hope your snow piles up again!

    Cheers,
    Maxx

    Where did it all go?

I don’t know whether that last pict looks all that wrong. I’ve got the wintertime blues… I bet that March will be a lion, like it always is here.

R has a hint for Rusty. If you need snowshoes again this year, try stepping on the back of the snowshoe before butting your head into the back of your human’s knee. The result is very funny – to the dog – especially if the human’s treat bag is open when he/she starts flying through the air.

We’ve had a colder than usual, or maybe just wetter then usual, February!

  9. Suka on February 23, 2011 at 1:23 pm

Sorry pups. The same thing is happening in my neck of the woods. All my beautiful snow disappeared. I think Spring is bullying its way into my area and Winter won’t fight back. I will keep my paws crossed that you pups get more snow!

We are wondering the same thing here – we have hyacinths trying to pop up and it is only February. We got our one big snowfall, a couple of piddly ones, and now nothing but mud:(
