Rusty’s Souvenir

As usual, Rusty was blazing his own trail during our walk Saturday evening.

So when he suddenly started walking quietly with everyone else, we knew something was up.

What could the Rooster possibly be up to?

And then we realized that he had picked up a little souvenir and was trying to smuggle it home.

Maybe he wanted us to put it in the freezer and save it for this summer.

Just a little snowball. Who would notice?

That is so cute! My Scotti used to think icicles were sticks, so Rusty would be a dog after her own heart.

That’s the smart boy, Rusty!!! Dakota used to like to find tennis balls and carry them all the way home too. We think Rusty could make quite the stash with all the snow you have there.

I thought it was a snowball in the first picture. Rusty, you really should have been hired by a circus as a clown! I hope they did save it in the freezer for you!

! hope Rusty will be able to enjoy his snowball this summer!

One of the (many) reasons I am attracted to this lifestyle is that people are so accepting of dogs and 99.9% of the dogs are so well behaved and more important, socialized!

That is so cute! You must have really good snow because that looks like a perfect snowball!

That is too funny. I always have to check my older one when she is suddenly quiet and heads home dutifully with her head hung down and away from us.

Thanks Rusty – you make me laugh! Did the humans put it in the freezer for you? Great idea…
