With all of our snow pictures the last several days, we have focused on how much fun The Thundering Herd has been having. But what about with our cousins, The Thundering Herd Annex, over at hu-grandmom’s house on the other side of the valley from us? Have they been having fun? Let’s go ask.

October 29, 2024
Hurricane Helene was a monster storm, but the way it hit Western North Carolina couldn’t have been much worse.
I believe I believe!

Licks & Nibbles,
Kody & Nia
Thanks for sharing all your snow pics!
Being in sunny Singapore, a sibe can only imagine and hope one day (if we return to Japan) i’ll be running in the snow too!
Cheers,
Maxx
Could it be “depression” at having missed out on all the fun on the “far side of the valley”?
Glad your puppies are happy hangin in the snow. No trouble whatsoever!
I believe it, Tartok. That innocent look is very convincing.
We totally believe you! Those faces scream total innocence!
Holly and Khady
I can see they are enjoying the snow too!
They don’t look like causing problems at all!
Hmmm…
Kisses and hugs

I don’t believe it…hehe. 🙂
I believe you because I know you are both SO well behaved!
Glad you all are enjoying all of that snow. Puff and I would be buried up to our necks…and Quinn would be invisible because of his extreme whiteness…poor Nuka would freeze without a Parka (her fur hasn’t grow back THAT much yet)!
Ruby, whitelies don’t become you! ok, they do. Tartok… of course nobody believes that!
“Who, me?” Those innocent blue eyes say it all!
Nope, no one believes it 🙂
Yesterday, it was super cold here, around -8°F first thing in the morning. The Runner drove to a rural bus stop (and the bus was 40 min late due to the snow). As he stood and waited, a pickup truck with a husky in the bed pulled up (a terrible arrangement, I know – but our legislature refuses to outlaw it). The reason why the Runner told me the story was that he said that the husky was panting as the truck stood in the parking lot. Can you imagine – panting in frigid temperatures while riding in the metal bed of a truck?
“Nothing to see here! Not a thing! Did you notice my halo was glowing today?”
I don’t think butter would melt in Tartok’s mouth!
We believe you!
Sam
You did a good job for being good!!!
Now that looks like Husky Heaven – just how deep is it?
Hey, looks like you had some nice accumulation! That’s a happy herd! Enjoy!
Yep. Just hangin’ out. No trouble here…
Those blue eyes.
Totally innocent!
