Beach Memories

Ok, we have been back from the beach for a week, so we probably should stop talking about it.  So let’s do one more beach post – and then show you what our weather is really like.  What are our favorite memories from our Beach Week?

Sitting around the campsite.

Watching the waves.

Getting a little – ok, a lot – of sand in your fur.

Walking in the surf.

Watching the sun rise.

Taking the time to pose for pictures for those who ask.

Walking down the beach – in our own unique style.

Enjoying the smells of the ocean.

And, of course, taking power naps.

And for those of you who think we went all soft while at the beach.  Here is a little video we took at the house yesterday and shared on our Facebook Fan Page.

Does it take a lot of brushing to get all that sand out?

Someday I am going to go to the beach and I hope that I come home from the beach to tons of snow.

We’ve love the beach pictures this week. I know, back to reality and snow (rain for us), but there’s still fun to be had!

It really does look like your beach holiday was so much fun! I’m glad you’re getting some serious snow now, though.

I could look at that Rusty picture every day and still enjoy it! *grin* We got no snow to talk about here, just bitter, bitter cold! There are two very disappointed dogs here since we didn’t get the hiking gear out, but ten below is my limit!

    Sibe Quentin!

Such pretty pix by the shore – of you all, skies and water – just “beachy” hee hee! But we are certain that you were delighted to get back to the “light” snowfall – yikes! How much did you get that afternoon? Will check FB!!!

    Hi Y’all!

Just hopped by to catch up! Wow, we escaped back to the shore just in the nick of time!

Winter in the mountains, while pretty is not really a fun time for me. My Humans aren’t fans of cold and wind…especially Momma, but don’t tell her I told.

The Humans nephew says the big storm is due today! Happy snow play y’all!

Love the sunrise at the beach photo, and, as always, the Rusty style!

All snow is “light”, isn’t it? A snowflake is almost weightless 🙂

  22. Stumpy and cyndi on January 8, 2011 at 8:30 am

I think the weather service meant WHITE snow, not light snow.

We love seeing the herd on the beach and camping. Well, ok, seeing the herd anywhere never gets old!

    Naps, snacks and walkies, FUREVER!
