A Personal Favorite

Many dogs have something that is a personal favorite .  An item to be protected from any other dog.  An item to be carried around.   An item that must always be close, even when napping.

Qannik has a favorite, too.

Just wake me when you put something in it.

Bowls are always better with something in them. 🙂

Food bowls are my favorite too. I’m always trying to steal everyone else’s bowl so I can clean it for them!

I have a chicken leg toy that I really love!
I carry it around the house all the time!
And I try to have it close to me even when I am enjoying naps!
Happy monday to all of you!

My favorite toy is my beaver. It still squeaks, even though I’ve had it for a very long time. Kat doesn’t have a big favorite, but she likes to take Nylabones to different rooms and then leave them there so Mom has to gather them all up again.

Somehow that doesn’t surprise – we know another white girl who was the same way:)

Ahh…. our little Jeter ALWAYS has one of his de-stuffed toys, his 2 favorites are the de-stuffed pumpkin and the de-stuffed octopus. He carries them everywhere he goes. So cute.

Oh Q-tip, we all need a security bowl!

  13. Houndstooth on January 3, 2011 at 11:54 am

Q-Tip, it looks to me like you might be suffering from a bit of a food hangover. I hope whatever was in that bowl was good! Too bad that Hu-Dad won’t share his pizza bones!

My step-sister, Bella has a toy that talks when it is squeezed. We don’t know what we will do when the battery runs out on it, Bella carries it around and talks to it when it talks. It is the only toy that gets put away when company comes, then brought out again after they leave so it won’t get broken.

Wow Q that is like Nia … she is a s-l-o-w eater but she does not let Kody near her food bowl (he would eat it if given the chance)! She may not want it right now but he can not have it!

Stumpy protects everything. But her food dish would be at the top of the list!

    Great catch with the camera!

I hardly think that you’ll miss food being put in it, Qannik! Your ear is almost IN the bowl!

    Very cute!

Good choice Qannik! Looks like the way to this Sibe’s heart is thru the stomach 😉

My dog Shiloh seems to covet everything, he’s the jealous type! He does like laying down on my bed and his bones. He won’t even let the cats near his bones and I keep telling him the cats aren’t interested in his bones but he still keeps protecting them! 🙂

Welcome home. We wish you all A wondrous New Year filled with more grand adventures, health, Sibe magic, great surprises (of the good kind), and always…love.

Thanks for the gift of your friendship. It means a lot to us.

Puff’s current favorite thing is an old chewy stick she found in the dog toy box which has now also become White Dog’s favorite, which has also become Quinn’s…so it goes outside with Puff, comes in with WD, is snatched up by Quinn. Only Nuka with her 8 teeth isn’t interested! Now mind you we have a graveyard’s assortment of bones throughout the house but it only this one.
