I’m late… voting is over, but it looks like my favorite won! 🙂

I voted for Heading Home. Just looks like it could make a great Christmas card. 🙂

It was such a hard decision!

I definitely like the team at an angle.

But I had to think a while before deciding. Heading home is kinda plaintive. And I love the touch of red on the scarf.

Of course, those are just my aesthetic tastes. The dogaholic in thinks every picture with dogs in it is just perfect!

We say, use all three – awesome pics. We really want to vote for crossing the road because of Qannik, and you know how we feel about Q. But the first one is just so unique with the angle and the beauty of the fresh fallen snow. And then, the going home is just so sentimental. We are a lot of help, aren’t we? We voted for crossing the road.

    We voted for ‘Going Home’.

Just a thought (we are no experts) – how about trying to convert it into B&W and the red scarf remains? Mrs. Wild Dingo might be able to help you with the photo editing as she has recently learnt this trick from TravelMarx.

    Love,
    Homer

First I thought I like the Going Home one, and then I realized I liked the B&W Angle better, So cancel my Going Home vote and put it on the B&W Angle.

The Going Home one is purely a visceral reaction to the day being done and going home is wonderful. But in Angle, its truly a beautiful photo, perfect lighting and angle. All three were fine.

    Entering a contest, perhaps?

    Cheers,
    Jo and Stella

All three have their own appeal…the winter charm of returning home…the captured personality/curiosity of crossing the road. But the drama and intensity of the first one truly immortalizes the drive and spirit of the idea of “team.”

That was a tough choice! I chose the first one based off initial reaction, but the other 2 were really good too!

PS: From what I’ve heard (tho I’m totally puter-challenged), one can Photoshop the wires out? Perfect! What is the photo for? We are always just the nosiest!

We voted for “Heading Home” as it seemed very Holidayish/Robert Frostish, which appealed to our sense of sentimentality and Christmas cheer… warmth at “Home”… vs. the cold (brrrrrrr) and darkening snowy outdoors! (wordy, eh?)
    Hugs xoxoxo

All the photos are great, but the first one is my favourite. There is something about their closeness, and the angle, that is just lovely. Good shots, all!

  15. Kari on December 17, 2010 at 12:09 pm

    Top one. Its artsy 😉

Oh! The first photo is amazing! There is that big sense of motion. This is our pick 🙂

Actually I love all the photos – anything with Qannik in it is a winner in my book!!!

  18. Wild Dingo on December 17, 2010 at 9:28 am

almost a slam dunk. first one. but the last one heading home also a fav…

    xmas/holiday card perhaps?

  19. Jenny on December 17, 2010 at 9:23 am

love the first photo, love the angle and the snow looks lovely and unwalked in, the black against the white is fab too,

    Jenny 🙂

  20. hisqueen on December 17, 2010 at 9:19 am

The whole team. The angle is great and they look very intent..as if there is something drawing them to it.
As much as I appreciate the Hu-Dad..kind generous patient with 6 crazy Sibes..I want to see the herd not the back of Hu-Dad’s cowboy coat.

Our favorite is the first one too!!

I liked crossing the road because the dogs are so in sync with their movements. But the black and white dogs at an angle look so action-packed that I like that one best!

  23. Houndstooth on December 17, 2010 at 8:26 am

Something about that first photo totally draws me in! Not that the others aren’t good, they are, but that was is visually a lot more interesting. At least to me! Of course, if you throw Rusty in to one, that changes things…

  24. Carolyn on December 17, 2010 at 7:46 am

Top one too, though there is a lovely solitude to the last that says ‘alone in the winter, yet with my dogs by me I am never truly alone.’

    Sniff.

    Red team jealous? 🙂

The first one has dynamic energy though. And I love Q-tip so any picture with him is awesome. LOL!

  25. Stumpy and cyndi on December 17, 2010 at 7:34 am

I voted for the first picture, but also love “going home” OK, actually I loved alll three.

The Bakc and White Team has three dogs… If it had four dogs it would have been even better ( you can never have too many dogs in one picture) The angle of the picture and the way the dogs are situated made it my favorite.

  26. priscilla on December 17, 2010 at 6:56 am

I love the ‘Heading Home’, a picture which depicts a true meaning of ‘walk the dog’ or ‘walk the human’!!!

  27. rottrover on December 17, 2010 at 3:36 am

re: “Black and White Team…” There’s a sense of movement — action — energy. It’s a great shot.

  28. Ice 'n Ayla on December 17, 2010 at 3:31 am

Me’n Ice like the “going home” one best. It just looks so peaceful and like you’re going home for SUPPER. Now THAT’S important!

  29. Holly & Khady on December 17, 2010 at 1:49 am

We LOVE the first photo! The angle is cool, the beautiful, untouched snow is gorgeous! All around awesome photo!
