Remodeling

In preparing for the winter (which can be cold for those human types), our hu-dad was careful to make sure everything was ready for the brutal winds and temperatures we can have.  One of the things he did was replace our dog door with a brand new flap to make sure it sealed well.  We decided it did not quite look right and did a remodeling.

We were just looking for some ventilation.

Yes, yes, he is aware that we have redecorated the wood frame of the door, but he was a little surprised that we have “adjusted” the flap itself.  Apparently this is supposed to cause some sort of problem with this morning’s predicted temperature of 19F (-7C).  Compared to the rest of the mornings this week, that is supposed to be warm, so we do not understand his grumbling.

    Hi Y’all!
    Nice redecorating!
Too cold and windy here for the Humans today! I love it!
No dog door for me. I make my Human Momma go outside with me. It’s good for her to get lots of fresh air.
    Thanks for stoppin’

Looks like congratulations are due all around–to the huparents for getting the site moved to a new server (always a tricky job) and to the sibes for redecorating.

    Well done, everyone!

Besides that, it looks like art to me 🙂

  18. Houndstooth on November 27, 2010 at 9:24 am

Does the Hu-Dad not understand that dogs need jobs? Obviously, since you didn’t have some, you took it upon yourselves to start a redecorating business. I don’t see the problem!

I’m amazed that the hu-dad doesn’t understand your need to contribute to the remodeling!

So, it’s windy there too. I think that’s the hardest part of winter here, and maybe there too?

  20. Oorvi on November 27, 2010 at 8:57 am

    Love the decoration…but seriously – it’s -7 degrees?!Brrr…

And the hu-dad is surprised why? Sometimes us dogs just has to take matters into our own paws. Or moufs. I say throw lots of your furs around to keep the hu-dad warm and all be OK.

  22. Minnie and Mack on November 27, 2010 at 7:45 am

Good job on the remodeling effort. Stay warm and cozy. Maybe you guys need a winter hat like Macks!
