The Mystery Guests Revealed

So many of you guessed correctly - Cousins Ruby and Tartok joined us camping.

Here we all are hanging out in front of the hu-dad's S-RV (we will show you how The Herd Annex rides in their RV soon).

From front to back - Kiska, Natasha, Qannik, Rusty, Kodiak, Cheoah, Ruby and Tartok.

Oh - and the outtake. Just as I snapped this picture, Queen Natasha the Evil decided Qannik needed to BACK OFF! Notice his body language.

P.S. – Happy Howl-o-ween.  We were going to howl for the holiday, but the hu-dad says we are not allowed to sing in the campground.  Bummer.

I’m glad Ruby and Tartok got to come for the trip!

If you can’t howl at the campground, you should howl the ENTIRE ride home. Whatever’s on the radio or CD player can’t compare to a Halloween soundtrack! (Plus, you’ll be sparing hu-dad “The Monster Mash” being repeated 57 times).

  11. Houndstooth on October 31, 2010 at 12:27 pm

I bet Ruby and Tartok are having such a good time! Hopefully it’s just the first of many times they’ll get to go!

Looks like a pawsome way to spend Halloween – or any day – all together camping! And what a handsome looking group of Huskies! What’s with the “no howling” rule??? Sheesh. It’s great your pack didn’t howl, I don’t think I could stop mine (and we’d be kicked out!) Have a Happy Howl(less)-oween!

  13. Kasha the Dainty Great Dane on October 31, 2010 at 11:56 am

Happy Howl ol ween to you guys as well! So mom has to ask…what kind of reaction do you get from people at the campground when they see the herd all hanging out by your RV? Just wondering if it’s a look of fear or what? I’m only 1 doggie and lots of time people will see me and cross the road to get to the other side to get away from me…it’s kind of funny. I love all hoomans but lots of them just see BIG DOG.

If you are in the woods, how can you have trick or treaters comming to your door? If no trick or treaters come to your door, what will you do with the extra candy? You could share it, that way it would not go to waste.

I love the body language. Quannik looks pretty darn defiant! Did he back down?

I thought that the Herd Annex was too obvious of a choice… Oh well! What fun – 8 Sibes all together camping! We often laugh that people look at our 2 or 3 Labs (depending on what year it is), and try not to camp next to us (worried about barking)… Eight Sibes might clear out the campground 🙂

  18. Maxx on October 31, 2010 at 9:28 am

    Great spot for camping out!
    hope the weather stays friendly.
    Happy halloween to the herd!

    Cheers,

  19. Emma Rose and the Duchess on October 31, 2010 at 9:26 am

That looks like a great camping spot. We have too much rain this time of year to go camping. We can do it but it’s not much fun 🙂 I can’t wait to see how the Herd sleeps and travels in the SRV.

    Kisses,
    Emma Rose

You are all so beautiful as always!! We love, love, love to howl at our place! Mom knows we shouldn’t bother the neighbors, but she’s usually too busy laughing to stop us right away 😉
    Happy Halloween!
