Waiting for My Turn

We were able to run again Sunday morning and, yes, we will have video later this week.  What – we are making you wait?  How cruel, right?  Well, the hu-dad believes we should be willing to wait on things – dinner, getting in or out of the Jeep, waiting to run on the sled.  Yes, waiting on our turn on the sled.  Want to see what we mean?

Waiting on turns to run.

Qannik looking just a little bored.

Red Team milling around impatiently

Natasha and Kiska waiting on their turn.

Wait - do we hear them coming?

Waiting is the hardest thing…whether it is dinner…or walk time…or getting into the car. I feel your pain and boredom.

We wouldn’t be very patient waiting either. Maybe you need to get Tartok and Ruby to come along and then with two sleds and four dogs each, no waiting:)

I’ll bet it was worth it all in the end, though! How long does it take all of you to get into your gear?

We think that you should just hook all SIX up at a time and let them rip! *That* would be quite a video.

I can imagine that they aren’t very quiet while waiting their turns if they’re anything like other dogs or like the Sibe sled dogs I’ve seen! I hope that the video includes audio!

    I can’t wait… Oh, but I’m supposed too.

Who does hu-dad think he is? pack leader or something? I think I better ask the queen that question?

Can’t wait to see the video!!!

Alright! I know we’ve to learn to be patient but it’s hard!!!

What fun! We can’t even imagine what running with the sled must be like. Last night on Amazing Race, we saw some sled dogs from Sweden, after watching them, we then had idea what running on dirt would be like! Your picture show how excited you all are to have your turn. Can’t wait for the video.
