If you want I can ask Chef Richard if he needs two more sous supervisors when he comes over to cook (he drops a LOT…mom says she thinks on purpose for us).

We can relate. Does the human ever “accidently” drop anything?

There’s readiness if I ever saw it!!! Good dogs – I don’t blame you; we’re at the ready too, whenever Mom’s doing something in the kitchen! Wheeeeee – free food!

Hi friends!! Hope you did indeed get some yummies!
On the RV stuff…in summer we tend to want to take so many things!!! Bikes, kayaks, and then all the gear. Feeling a bit small in the truck-camper at this point. But, it is the only type of vehicle allowed to camp at our winter ski area. Sounds like you have a more spacious and comfortable rig!! We hope to some day 🙂 And, seems that there are more and more monster rigs out there!

    Hugs and snaggle-tooth kisses,
    Sierra Rose

Lovely poem and such adorable and invaluable little assistants! I find mine to be particularly helpful while chopping crunchy carrots that tend to fly off the cutting board!

We sure hope the cook has slippery fingers:)

My Baby used to be Ruby. We renamed her when we rescued her. I have her picture up on the blog today.

Oh, we know all about kitchen help! Love the rhyme!

We had a food-guarder visit recently. She even had to be crated during “kitchen-helping” time because she’d snarl at our dogs to get the best position for grabbing falling morsels. It was an eye-opening experience to have the possibility of aggression within our own house. Aside from that, she was super sweet.

Hey, how come no wise cracks about Juno sticking Loki with a no-stuffing sticker? I mean, that sounds so like something one of the Herd chicks would do…

  24. Houndstooth on September 14, 2010 at 8:17 am

Well, of course! Someone has to protect the kitchen floor!

  25. Wild Dingo on September 14, 2010 at 3:59 am

Sibes are lucky they are so beautiful. Seriously. They have super model attitudes. I see Ruby is right at home now… so nice to see!

Lovely poem and you all are really good kitchen helpers! I’m really good at making sure put dishes in the dishwasher are clean.
