Wings of Doom
December 12, 2024
A simple nightly routine with my dogs led me to face the wings of doom, a hideous creature that lurks in the shadows of my yard.
Or beneath your wings as the case may be?
You look so cool with the wind in your hair like that! 🙂
I’m not sure about The Herd, but this week for Layla it’s more “My Hair in the Wind.” The house looks like a snow globe, and the thought of vacuuming is just silly. And to think I’d have 10 more…
You should ask the hu-dad to point his hairdryer at you, Kiska.
I LOVE WIND IN THE FACE!
I absolutely can’t get enough of it. We don’t have a jeep, so I have to stick my head out the window.

Kishka captures the true joy of car riding! Have a great weekend filled with lots of rides (and maybe a nice brunch in town al fresco)!
Yep. The humans have to forget about their ‘dos when the dogs are in the car. And isn’t it wonderful that the wind is not hot like it has been?
Do you think convertibles were really invented for dogs? Hmmmm.
You look so carefree and happy Kiska. Happy Friday!! And, you even have water. Woo hoo!!!!
what? no comment on how juno licked her chops when she saw the cows and wanted nothing to do with the treat i was offering her? really? i had about a half dozen Herd comments swirling in my head about that while i wrote it!
and yes, i like the wind in a woolies hair too… what type of product does she use? vidal sassoon? ooo la la!
Oh, wowzers! And you look SO beautiful with that wind blowing through your fur! I’ll bet it feels great! I can’t wait for it to be cool enough for us to pop the sunroof in the Celica!
Play bows,
Zim
Where are you going?
Woofs and Kisses!
The Fiesty Three
I have yet to meet a dog who doesn’t love the wind in their hair
Isn’t it just too much fun to have all that bootiful hair just flying in the breeze!! I only have little short hairs but I do like the breeze!! Sorry I haven’t been visiting much but hopefully my hooman will keep on top of my postings.

PeeEssWoo: Too bad we didn’t get to see the wind in your tail hairs!

You need a pair of Doggles!

Wind in the hair and all safely buckled in–that’s carefully carefree.
That silly and happy smile tells it all, Kiska!!! Have a great weekend.

Regarding your response to my back pain post, would you mind emailing me about the exercises you do? I have bad posture and really bad back problems in my family history (although personally I’ve never had a problem). I’ll let them do an xray if they want to, but I just need something to get through work today. If they can’t find the problem I am definitely making an appointment with a chiropractor. Anyway thank you for the information.
is this when hu-dad is driving 90 miles/hr? hehehe. just kidding. woo look so happy kiska!
toodles,
tula
As long as you don’t end up with a bad ear day when it’s over, it’s all good! You look like you’re ready for whatever fun the weekend may throw at you, Kiska!
I envy you riding in the car. And the breeze blowing across your hair (and for me, my nose)
wooooooooow lovely!

How lovely – you reminded us of Kira on her boat!

I can almost feel your wind too!!
We like the wind from the car windows in town where they have to drive pretty slow (25 mph) but when they get out on the open road coming home and get above 50, we pull back away from the windows. Usually, they will roll them up and use the A/C then anyway…
There is nothing worse than a cool spring breeze flitting into my floppy ears!
But yours are suitable for such an affair!
Enjoy the wind in your hair
