Water from the Sky

With the weekend upon us, no work crews showed up to solve our indoor water problems.  We are becoming quite efficient at moving water from the well to the house, so we are doing fine.  So the best way to get away from problems like this is to hit the trails.  Just one problem.  We had an overabundance of water – from the sky.

Look at all of that rain coming down.

Stopped that rain and fog yet, Your Highness?

Sounds like we’re sharing weather – and that sucks for both of us.

Good luck with the well tomorrow. I hope it all goes…well.

Haha I love the caption of the second picture.

Hope they come out and fix it for you soon!

While we appreciated the much-needed rain, we did not appreciate drying off the dogs. They both looked fluffy the rest of the day. I cannot imagine drying off six of them.

If anybody can will the rain to stop, it is Queen Natasha! I’m guessing the Sibes don’t do rain, either? I hope you can get somebody out there on Monday to fix the pipes!

Rut roh – we think we may have sent that your way. We were under siege of deluge Friday night along with lots of lightning and 80 mph winds. Guess the water workers don’t do weekends:(

Absolutely hysterical photos! If anyone can stop the rain, it would be Her Highness!!!!!

I hope that you get water help soon. I just realized that I’d have no idea how to get water from my well if the pipes clogged between here and there. Your predicament is a good warning to me.

Did you put some buckets out on your porch so you can just bring water in from the porch instead of the well?

Khumbu is right. I think Natasha’s and Kiska’s expressions show they’re hoping for the rain to change over to snow.

Glad to hear you’re coping with the water carrying. Hopefully your stray contractors will turn up soon!

Wooooo you guys did a snow dance too and got rain. Hey its not a bad start, think of the mud.
