Excited for the Weekend

It is Friday. We are in the Jeep. Can you knock off work early, hu-dad?

We are looking forward to some better temperatures here as the high is supposed to be about 10 degrees lower on Saturday (74F (23C) in the valley, so probably a high in the 60’s at the house). Β We could only hope that is a first sign of fall.

You know, it’s feeling a little bit fall-like here in the early mornings and evenings as well. We’re looking forward to it…but…as Fall comes, so will our Roo continue on her journey. So let’s enjoy the summer while it lasts. πŸ™‚

But snow is probably too much to hope for yet, huh?

  15. Houndstooth on August 13, 2010 at 8:23 am

Good grief! It’ll be months before we’re looking at temps like that! I honest to Pete heard the weatherman say “We’re only going to get up to 90 degrees on Saturday” and I thought I might melt just thinking about it! I wish I were going somewhere with Qannik and Kiska!

  16. Rachel on August 13, 2010 at 7:03 am

Sounds like glorious weather! We can’t wait to move to the mountains!

  17. Priscilla on August 13, 2010 at 5:12 am

Woo! Hope you get better temperature at your area! It’s constantly hot in Malaysia so no change in temperature for us!

That is such a pretty picture of you in the jeep! You do look excited. If your hu-dad has a sat nav tell him to set it for Scotland. You will enjoy the cool temperatures here!!!
