The humans were sitting at their favorite side walk cafe Sunday morning having brunch (and making The Herd watch). If you look at the back of the Jeep, there were several people standing and kneeling taking pictures of us, so the hu-dad was trying to capture that scene. (A couple of years ago, a tour bus was parked beside the Jeep and about 30 passengers from that bus were standing behind the Jeep taking pictures. The hu-dad regrets he never got THAT picture)
But just as he snapped the picture, a family crossed in front of the camera. The cool thing about accidental pictures is what you catch without realizing it. Look at the boy on the left and then Natasha by the back door – making a little connection with each other. Artistically, this is not a great photograph. But we love the special moment we caught. Click to enlarge the picture if need be.

Horrible Hurricane Helene: Why So Bad for WNC?
October 29, 2024
Hurricane Helene was a monster storm, but the way it hit Western North Carolina couldn’t have been much worse.
Ah the instant bond that can be formed with a dog
Don’t forget, we moved to http://dogisgodinreverse.com/
Obviously that little boy recognised a Queen when he saw one.
My mom says that if she’d see you… she’d take pictures of you too!
I can see the connection with that boy!
Take care
Kisses and hugs

Making a “connection” isn’t always a great photo op but it IS a great heart moment! Thanks for sharing the tenderness.
I feel like that picture is the opening scene of a great book…
That is such a great pic! Here kids and sibes just seem to go together so well. Happy smiles all around.
Have a great weekend and enjoy the walk.

That boy probably wants his own Natasha now!
“Come a little closer little boy… booowahahaha… now, hand over all your foodables. What no foodables? Git lost!”
ya, huskies only make friends, large or little, when it serves them.
“Step into my parlor …”
That photo is soooo cool. I love moments like that.
wif love and a happy sigh from the Luke
Actually, it is a cool photo because the boy’s posture tells the story. The Queen definitely made friends with that little boy. Very cool!
I agree! I love those candid shots!
I can’t imagine that The Herd goes to too many places where they don’t attract a lot of attention!
How SWEET!! Calhoun made a contact like that with a little girl in diapers once. He walked right up to her and smelled her belly button. She just giggled and he wiggle-butted all over the place. Then her mom and I got the giggles.
Ah a chance meeting of the minds…perhaps a future siberian owner in the making.
Can you picture this? A few years from now…a young man adopts a husky because he remembers the beautiful huskies parked in the Jeep. You never know who you influence!
Lock eyes…pause… launch… cuddles!
Dogs and people – people and dogs = magnets to each other. ♥LOVE IT♥
