We had brunch in downtown Waynesville like we often do on Saturday mornings. We can get a table on the sidewalk, park The Jeep with The Herd within sight of our table, and enjoy things before it gets too crowded. One of the best aspects of a sidewalk table is to watch all of the visitors – and there are certainly a lot in town since this is the official kick-off weekend of the 27th Annual FolkmootUSA, a two-week celebration of the world’s cultural heritage through folk music and dance. But of all of the tourists on our sidewalks, one in particular caught our eye. We found out that we had a lot in common, because he is also a rescue and was adopted from our friends at Southern Siberian Rescue.

Wings of Doom
December 12, 2024
A simple nightly routine with my dogs led me to face the wings of doom, a hideous creature that lurks in the shadows of my yard.
You have some of the most beautiful baby blues. Your friend sneaking in the back is cute to. 🙂
That is one big Sibe! He’s got Paul Newman eyes! Did he recognize The Herd? Was he impressed to be near so much greatness?
Sooooo beautiful eyes!

It’s okay, hu-dad, Dennis’s mom usually focuses on vizslas to the exclusion of other dogs too when we meet them! 🙂

Isn’t it fun to sit down on a lovely day and do some dog watching and some people watching, too? BTW, those blue eyes rival old Frankie Sinatra’s any day!
