Which way to the weekend?

**********

For a week shortened at the beginning by the Independence Day Holiday, this week has sure felt long.  It has been hot.  Ok, ok, we had two whole days this week where the temperature got to 80F (27C) for a total of 3 days so far this year.   While most of you would love those temps, the highest temperature we have ever recorded at the house was 84F (29C), so we are in record range.

But yesterday in particular felt long.  The Siberian Husky world lost three of its members that we know of in one day.  We feel for the families left behind and had candles burning brightly last night.

Tucker (Click picture for a beautiful tribute).

Meeka

Dustin (Click picture for other photos)

We bet there was one heck of a Siberian Husky party at The Rainbow Bridge.

Oh no! I am so very sorry to hear about the loss of three friends in one day. Bet you’re right thought there was one big party at the bridge.

We hope they run free. X

It’s been very humid here lately. I’d really like some snow right now!

We send gentle woos of solace to comfort the aching hearts and to ease the sadness that must envelope you (and the community)at the loss of your friends. As the storm gathered here, we had a brief glimpse of the Rainbow Bridge and can swear we saw a trio of floofiness near the top. May the hole left by the sudden departure of each be slowly filled with loving memories.

Whew! Talk about HOT – we don’t usually get real high temps but it got up to 97! We’ve been wooing sadly for Meeka, too. We didn’t know Tucker or Dustin, but losing any husky is sad. We feel for woo, losing 3 furiends in 1 day! The stars were extra-twinklie, a sure sign of a Siberian Bridge Pawty!

I am so sorry for your loss. We lost three of our kind in USA the other week, because their human had lost her mind and stopped feedning them. It was a tradgedy. So I really know how you feel. I wish all us doggies could live forever. Sending you and the families a big affie hug!

Very sad abouts your friends. I have been at the emergency vet in the middle of the night as well. Momma was so very scared. Luckily, my body is made of rock hard steel. We will be thinking about the families who lost their loving furiends.

It was humid 90’s all week here in northern OH. Good weather to stay inside. Too hot to even chase chipmunks.

Our sympathies to all the families who lost a loved one this week. You know there’s some loud ha-rooing going on at the RB.
