A Cheesewhiz Woo

Morning song time is a tradition at Chez Herd. This morning, Cheoah the Cheesewhiz was inside when song time began, so she got to show off her solo skills with the Sibernacle Choir.

OMD! I didn’t even have my tea this morning and I heard that. I don’t know if i would have joined them or if I would have taken a hose to them! Hilarious.

I love Kiska’s face when Cheesewiz stops. it’s like “stopping so SOON?”

Who needs a rooster when you have the Herd? (Although you do have a Rooster of course …)

OMG — I didn’t realize that you doggies sounded like that when you sing….WOW I’m pretty quiet so mom was just shocked listening to you guys. I would have thought you would have had a deeper singing voice.

I love it! Sounds like our house every morning, only Khady is usually our leader! She sounds a lot like Cheoah.

I always love how everyone stops all at the same time! Hilarious!

oooops, it was 2004, not 2006. but it still is very fresh in the human’s mind.

  10. the 4Bs on June 23, 2010 at 11:16 pm

thanks for coming over to our blog. we’re so proud of you pups for knowing about and wearing breakaway collars. it seems like it takes a tragedy or near-tragedy for some humans to understand that this can happen to any pup and any time.

we lost a 3 month old pup to a collar strangulation accident in 2006 (the year that our beloved Baxter joined us). that was when our human learned about the breakaway collars.

we still don’t think that we have convinced most pups to wear them, but we won’t give up. we’re really happy that you pups know their value.

    woofs.

do you also do Christmas carols? if not – you should definitely consider it! i think your voices would really lens themselves to the cheerful seasonal songs!

Cheoah, are you STILL blowing coat? My brother and I joined in at the chorus as we listened to and watched your blog…you all have a lovely woo! My mom appreciated the nose painting, too!

  13. The OP Pack on June 23, 2010 at 9:08 pm

Music to our ears! We had quite the harmonizing session go on here when we heard all of you. We loved the head moves on Kiska watching Cheoah from outside.

Mom says she is so glad to find someone with more snooter art on the windows than here – and that is a lot.

Wow – do you guys do this everyday?? And always at the same time? My human is in shock watching that video – hee! hee! – see, I’m such a quiet dog (am practically mute) – she’s hardly ever heard doggie noises like that! πŸ™‚

    Slobbers,

Beyonce’s got nothing on you, Cheezwhiz! You have a lovely voice. I do believe that Bunny was taking notes. I’ll have to see if I can find a video of a greyhound group roo to share with you. It’s really something, too!

I loved the yip at the end and then the bow!

  26. Karen on June 23, 2010 at 10:41 am

Oh MY DAWG. Sugar will not stop talking! She never woos, but Kiska (yes, Kiska and not Cheesewhiz) has completely set her into growl/howl/ruff mode. The video has ended, but her short yaps at the screen continue…

  27. Stella on June 23, 2010 at 9:06 am

We aren’t singers here, but we would like to be. Do you guys offer lessons on DVDs?

    Kisses,
    Stella

  28. Zoe on June 23, 2010 at 7:06 am

My mom likes to look in my mouth while I woo. She says my tongue wiggles when I’m wooing. Mo-om!

  29. Cinnamon on June 23, 2010 at 6:17 am

You are a wonderful choir team! When will your CD be released?

  30. Monica on June 23, 2010 at 5:46 am

My sheltie mix came out from under the desk this morning & howled with the herd. He has never done that with any other video with dogs howling. In fact I have never heard him howl before – he must have heard something he liked. so cute!

  31. Maxx on June 23, 2010 at 4:09 am

You been practicing at the karaoke?
    What sweet music!
