Is This Really So Unusual?

Guess what we are doing this weekend?

Yep, we are out in the S-RV two weekends in a row.  We all had a lot of fun last weekend and wanted to go again, so why not?  We are at Lake Hartwell State Park in South Carolina.

Besides, this may sound strange, but we almost never go camping on holiday weekends because the traffic is so bad.  So next weekend will certainly be a hang around Maggie Valley weekend.  Nothing like home on a holiday weekend.  Thus, it was this weekend or wait a couple of weeks.

Anyway, our hu-dad was sitting out at the picnic table working (not work – on our Facebook Fan Page) on his PC (and for Mimi and Cabana, not wi-fi, but a cellular lap top card.  It is the same way we get internet at the house since we live so far in the middle of nowhere – and hate satellite internet) and a number of people gawked at all of us on our drop line.  Is it really that unusual to see six Siberian Huskies camping?  Seems normal to us.

Don’t you get tired of all that fresh air and beauty? 😉

Thanks for stopping by my bloggie! Isn’t the Blog Hop a neat way to make new friends? We LOVE camping in our moveable home too!! I don’t think there is anything strange about six huskies camping! I can imagine the looks you get though… there used to be four of us and my two leggers would get the “are you crazy?!” look all the time. Nice to meet you!

Errrrr, isn’t the time to go camping with six huskies in the middle of winter? Oh, I forgot. It doesn’t get cold enough in North Carolina for a six dog night.

    Great pix!

I don’t know how your humans manage six Huskies. I have one part Husky who drives me nuts. He lives by his own set of rules and expects me to figure them out. Tsar is much more like a cat than a dog and even won the Cat prize in MangoMinster this year. Maybe I can learn something from your blog.

Well, it is unusual to see six Huskies camping here, but over there I’m sure it’s perfectly normal. Or something.

I think it would be totally COOL to see the dogs on a drop line and I’d be over asking like a zillion questions!!

Thanks for stopping by blog! 🙂

I know that if I saw The Herd, I’d have to come over and pet every one of them, probably trying to snag some Rusty floof along the way!

I see nothing unusual! But then, Mom was walking two of us the other day and some woman said, “OH MY! You have TWO of them?!?” First of all, I didn’t think “them” was very nice …. but you should have seen her face when Mom said there are four of us. Ha roo roo roo! I wish all of you had been there!
