Checking on our Snow and Spring

Our tree is really starting to leaf out.

And you can see how the snow is disappearing from Cataloochee Ski (despite our little snow fall we reported on Facebook earlier this week)

Down by the ski lodge, the retreat of our snowy friend is so evident.

But we love the mix of snow and spring!

That’s so beautiful! Of course we like the snow more than the Spring… but that’s only natural!

Isn’t it amazing how the landscape is transformed? Spring is the best!

Wow, look how green that grass is! Sorry, we don’t have green grass in Australia any more, due to a massive drought. There’s even a drought in my parsley pot these days.

Snow and spring would be a really neat mix…
But looks like the snow is really going bye bye until next year.

We were wondering the same thing – can you go and hike on the ski trails now that it is closed?

Very cool seeing the greenery and the whiteness.

I am in complete agreement – what beautiful scenes from your part of the world! Are you allowed to go on the ski area snow now? I hope so – then you definitely have the absolute best of both worlds!
