Wings of Doom
December 12, 2024
A simple nightly routine with my dogs led me to face the wings of doom, a hideous creature that lurks in the shadows of my yard.
Remember travelling in the North Ga mountains one time and they had a sign like that and there was a runaway truck stop area. Sign said occupied. Hmmm wonder what you do if you needed to stop two trucks!!! Bad thing was if the trap did not stop you it ended at a clift….
do you happen to drive stick?
Yike! My hu-mom thinks the one 9% street here is bad.
Are you a chronic downshifter? Living in the hills has me so accustomed to it that I never stop!
Oh-oh! Sure that is scary!
Kisses and hugs
Lorenza
Wow, that’s pretty steep! We don’t have those kind of hills at my house.
Similar sign on our road. When it snowed the other day, there were abandoned cars everywhere. I think that most people had taken their snow tires off!
They should put your Jeep on that sign!
Play bows,
Zim
Yikes! That is scary.
Yikes, No drinking and driving please!
I don’t think we is pulling a sled down dat hill or up dat hill! We will think about jest walkin’ it. Maybe or maybe not!
Husky kisses,
Biloxi
Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm……We should take a car to get back up…….
But we would love walk down with you all!!!!!!!!!
HAve a great weekend dear friends!!!!!
Sweet kisses and licks
Obviously, I don’t live in the mountains. I’ve never seen a sign quite like that. I think I’d be a little worried if I was walking The Herd back up and saw it then!
Must be a fun walk down, but we think we will hitch a ride to get back up:)
Woos – Phantom, Thunder, and Ciara
