Hill Ahead

The road from our house to the valley floor is nearly 3 miles long. This sign pretty well sums it up.

Remember travelling in the North Ga mountains one time and they had a sign like that and there was a runaway truck stop area. Sign said occupied. Hmmm wonder what you do if you needed to stop two trucks!!! Bad thing was if the trap did not stop you it ended at a clift….

Are you a chronic downshifter? Living in the hills has me so accustomed to it that I never stop!

Wow, that’s pretty steep! We don’t have those kind of hills at my house.

Similar sign on our road. When it snowed the other day, there were abandoned cars everywhere. I think that most people had taken their snow tires off!

Obviously, I don’t live in the mountains. I’ve never seen a sign quite like that. I think I’d be a little worried if I was walking The Herd back up and saw it then!

Must be a fun walk down, but we think we will hitch a ride to get back up:)
