Juno and Loki – as Red Heads

Dedicated to our pals over at Wild Dingo

Cheoah is 40 lbs (soaking wet, but then, she often is soaking wet)

Kodiak is 60 lbs.

Hey, Big Boy, you ready to rumble?

Get that paw off me, runt!

You and whose army, Big Boy?

No Army. Just me.

Whoa - Juno and Ruby make picking on the boys look much easier.

Never give up.

Oh, Good Grief.

Yeah… RUMBLE!!!! Just be careful you don’t let it go far enough to get someone mad! That’s usually what happens around here…. πŸ™

Why is it that us girls ALWAYS have to keep everyone in line and playing nice?

  5. Ruby's Raiser on April 15, 2010 at 9:35 pm

Wow, they are both just so beautiful. Love the “never give up” part — that’s Ruby’s mantra (to Kiva’s exasperation)!

  6. Sagira on April 15, 2010 at 7:06 pm

    Keep them boys in line!

  7. KB on April 15, 2010 at 6:30 pm

whoo, that’s a big size difference for two huskies. We have no “big boy” in our house. Our dogs are identical weights.

I love the lines… lots of laughs here!

Oh what fun. We love doing that 2. Callie girl is only 30 lbs and I Gus am like 42 pounds and she tries to get the best of me too. Putting those girlie paws on me…
    Great pictures..

Hey, you forgot to use this line, one of our favorites from Wild Dingo’s latest post:

Put an egg on your paw and beat it big boy or I’ll smack you down!

Well, I would say those are a couple of beautiful redheads. Firey tempers and all!

You mean, there’s a 20 pound difference between the two dogs?! Wow, that’s so hard to tell from photos. Amazing.

  16. Life With Dogs on April 15, 2010 at 9:41 am

Do they have to give up the remote as well? πŸ™‚

  17. Houndstooth on April 15, 2010 at 8:46 am

Hee hee! I think it must be a little girl thing! Bunny seems to have no clue that she’s tinier than most of the big dogs we run into at the dog park or in the house. Of course, she is faster than all of them, so there’s a back up plan if things don’t work out!

Just keep trying it, Cheoah! I think eventually you’ll wear him down!

you gotta keep those boys in line

  20. moo too on April 15, 2010 at 7:28 am

Good start, Cheoah! I’m only 40 lbs & Jack is about 60 too. The secret is to throw all 40 pounds of yourself at him! Become forty pounds of feminine fighting furball! Woo can do it, I know woo can! Nice dialog, so Loki & Juno-esque!

  22. Wild Dingo on April 15, 2010 at 2:46 am

Ahhh! Cheez-wiz… BELIEVE me, it ain’t easy keepin’ the boyz in line. It takes a lot of ‘tude and toofs. Who says size matters? show him da toofs! And follow it up with da ‘tude. It’s all in the ‘tude baby! Very good attempt. Juno and I salute it. Perhaps if you need to come to camp Wild Dingo for a weekend, you may be able to learn a few smack-down skills that will give you the infinite paw-up on the K-man. We have JUST the whipping boy for you to practice on! LOL.
