Enjoying Our Tree

Saturday morning was cool, but absolutely gorgeous. So we went walking and then stopped to picnic under our tree.

The snowboarders were enjoying the final open weekend of Cataloochee Ski.

We just enjoyed our shade.

Are The Herd sneaking over now that the ski resort is closed and making the most of the last snow?

I guess eventually it will get so shady that you won’t be able to even see the ski resort! The leaves will be blocking the view.

All six of you under your tree? In formation? How on earth did that happen? Great job. Guys, I miss you terribly. I’m so very busy, but when I saw your comment come in I just couldn’t help myself. I just had to stop by to say hello. xoxoxo

What a great tree! Wish we had one like that around here.

Our part of the state is called the “Pine Barrens”, so we’re mostly just stuck with pine trees. Not that great for shade.

Looks like there is room for a few more sibes under and around that tree – mind if we boys come join you – a good escape from the little monster, we mean, our sweet sister.
