Kodiak is an Art Critic

We did not build this snow man, but think it is a somewhat modernistic design

Kodiak considers himself quite the refined art critic. Let's see what he thinks.

Enough said.

I think if it had a corncob pipe and a button nose and two eyes made out of coal then Kodiak would have liked it better.

Is he marking this as his own, or simply making a critic’s point?

I found this to be a most appropriate review, Kodiak. I guess our aesthetics agree.

    Dear Kodiak,
I’m sort of grouchy today, as Mom’s not taken me to do something fun yet and time’s a wastin’! But you made me howl so hard! Thanks for the “funny!” (You are definitely the refined art critic!)
    Hugs xo

Does that mean he likes it, or he doesn’t? Hmm …

  20. BloggingDante on March 18, 2010 at 10:33 am

Ahahaha, Kodiak and Dante share the same taste in “art” — great minds think alike, as they say πŸ˜‰

Everybody’d a critic these days! At least he didn’t write “Hu-dad was here!” in the yellow snow!

  23. Wild Dingo on March 18, 2010 at 3:26 am

you know, i’m with him. eyes should be where eyes go, arms where arms go, and ears where ears go… and so on. all this modern stuff is just well, what Kodiak says.

Mr. WD and I visited the Pompidou in Paris one time, and he’s not a fan of modern art at all. and when he saw a “smartie” framed and hung on the wall (yes it was “art”), well, let’s just say he would have like to do what kodiak did. I don’t think i’d ever seen someone with so much to say about a smartie! I mean, he had so much to say, i’d say the artist actually achieved his job, right?

so to sum up: kodiak’s opinion has probably only given strength to the artistic statement made by the snowman artist.
