Tartok and Ruby Tuesday

Our hu-dad would love to claim that he came up with the title of today’s post all by himself.  But, that would totally ignore that Jack and Moo as well as Juno and Loki all suggested it (In case you live in a country where the restaurant name means nothing to you, click here to understand the reference).  Regardless, it is time to visit The Thundering Herd Annex and check in on Tartok and Ruby just in time for treats:

Did someone say treats?

Detail - Atten Hut!

Cool it with the licking of the chops, Rubester

Big Brothers - sheesh - Always trying to boss a girl around.

Love the tongues both out - some thanks for treats

Now that he is gone, let's talk about more for me.

Yes, Ruby is a growing girl and I am sure she needs more treats or ELSE!

    Steve

PS. I mean or else she will take something off the counter.

Grammy always says, “Better licked chops than drool hitting the floor!” Thanks for sharing your “treat time” with us… I think we’ll go and see if we can talk Grammy into giving us some! The CCC

The tongue action is perfect, just perfect!

For a treat sometimes my Mom throws some leftover meaties, or scrambled eggs or other kinds of goodies in my bowl, and I hear it happen as it hits the bowl. I stick my head down and scarf it up fast, and look at her for more. She says,”Stella, if I filled that bowl to the top, it wouldn’t be enough!”

But I think it would be just about right!

    Kisses,
    Stella

Great Balto! I think I need to have my eyes checked. I looked real fast at that first pic and thought it was Zimmie and Dave!
We always have to sit for treats. It’s the one thing we do. But it’s not a trick! It’s just being polite.

Half of success is being in the right place at the right time. The kitchen is always the right place, the right time is whenever a bi-ped is in the kitchen. Bella and I use the team approach, one of us lies in the middle of the floor to trip the bi-ped, the other stays ready to grab and run when the food hits the floor.

Ha-roo, thank woo fur the mention. Having lived around those restaurants fur years, how could we NOT say the obvious?

  24. Amber on February 16, 2010 at 10:29 am

Oh Ruby, you are a girl after my own heart….NEVER give up on the treats but stick around to see if you may get a little more. It works most of the time simply based on the cuteness factor. 😉

    Kisses,
    Nala

    Ruby,

I always like to think about more for me later, too! We love their expressive faces!

    Bunny

  28. KB on February 16, 2010 at 8:11 am

What an expressive face Ruby has! The tongues are hilarious, and the “Let’s talk about more for me”!

BTW, I’ve banned R from visiting your herd anymore! Now I know where his crazy tactics come from!

  29. Wild Dingo on February 16, 2010 at 4:44 am

It’s about time we got the recognition we deserve! I mean, we only suggested Ruby Tuesday posts like 87 years ago (if i can borrow that number from Frankie) when the Annex adopted her. 😉

Now Ruby, don’t let that boy push you around. You wear the pantyloons in the family! Now show him what that means… oh, sneakily waiting around for more is how you do it? ok that works for us.
    wags-n-wiggles,

Let’s always talk about more for me!

Such patience in those eyes. A sight I’m unfamiliar with…
