Instigtation

The Thundering Herd Annex is much like Chez Herd in many ways – there is always someone instigating a game.  We caught these pictures last night while over at The Annex.  Does this look like your multi-animal house?

Tartok is innocently minding his own business by napping in the floor. What could possibly go wrong?

Ruby would not cause any problems, would she?

Some pups say that Ruby never stops talking. Wonder why she has that reputation?

Oops - Ruby accidentally "touched" Tartok.

And the game is on!

    That is hilarious!

  3. Steve & Kat on January 25, 2010 at 2:32 pm

I think we could just copy this blog post and replace “Tartok” with “Steve” and “Ruby” with “Kat”.

Ruby you can mess with me anytime.
I’d got a can of something you can open.

You got it all wrong – that isn’t instigation that is just a well thought out start to a good old game of TAG.

  6. M.T. on January 23, 2010 at 8:36 pm

Does this look like our house?? Hahaha … very much so! Never a dull moment when you have that many four-footed kids under on roof!

Awww……all the joys of having more than one furry kid……never a dull moment!!!!!!

  9. Bentley on January 23, 2010 at 7:07 pm

Oh yes, life in a multi-canine household can be dramatic sometimes. I – the hound – am always well behaved and would never instigate anything! *paws crossed behind back*.

There’s always a lot of complaining here when Dennis accidentally touches Tucker …

Oh, great Balto. Yes, I think Ammy and Ruby would be QUITE the pair! Let’s get those two together — after I buy the rest of us some ear plugs. Ha roo roo roo!

That looks *exactly* like what happens at my house – complete with that little excited grin on Ruby’s face before she did anything.

Casey the lab will be napping and Layla will either “just happen” to touch him, or “just happen” to get the zoomies and trample him. They’re like little kids!

  13. Twinkietinydog on January 23, 2010 at 2:05 pm

Aha, sure, an “accident” we believe you. BOL At least you don’t have katz added to your mix. You should be grateful and continue with your instigations.
    Twink!

Hmmm. Mom says that she sees this as sign of things to come when Abby comes home to say. Should I be worried?

Where was Ruby coming from when she came into the room? Maybe the kitchen? Nothing happening there, so lets seee. Oh, Tartok, sure this will be good for some fun! A little tap on the cranium and it starts.

My Mom is crazy about these Sibes and smart enough to know she couldn’t handle them!

    Kisses,
    Stella

That was obviously an accident! Obviously! I love that series of events, though! It so clearly showed the story!

  21. gus, louie and callie on January 23, 2010 at 10:57 am

Ruby you are just like Miss Callie always putting her hands on us.. Trying to instigate some trouble.. She usually accomplishes it..

  22. Cheryl, Indiana, Shingo & Molly on January 23, 2010 at 10:45 am

Exactly like our muti-dog house! So cute.

  27. The OP Pack on January 23, 2010 at 8:32 am

Well, at least she is kind enough to just do the invitation (instigation) with a gentle paw on the head. She could be doing a full-out pounce. She is a smart girl. Is that nonstop talking typical of the reds?

    Woos, Phantom and Thunder

  28. Suka on January 23, 2010 at 3:22 am

    Tag! You’re it!

Rudy, you sure know how to have a good time! It seems like you are the life of the party and bring the excitement around when things get a bit dull. My kind of pup!

    Suka

  29. Wild Dingo on January 23, 2010 at 3:00 am

Juno totally does that to “poor ‘ole unsuspecting’ Loki. (of course he deserves it for being brutal to her when she first came and trying to keep “top spot” when it rightfully belongs to a girl! duh)

anyway, Juno gives 2 paws up for Ruby’s game set match! Woo!
    wags-n-wiggles,
    wild dingo
pee ess: Juno would like to know if Ruby wouldn’t mind if she joined in on torturing Tartok along with Ruby of course.

  30. Teddy Bear on January 23, 2010 at 2:45 am

Looks like Ruby is in the mood to play! Game on!:)

    Love,
    Teddy Bear
